Firewall iP 1.40 public beta1

-Block unneeded content (ads ;) )
-Easy to use interface & control app
-and many more

A lot of stuff has been changed, mostly not visible for you, but here are the most remarkable changes:

- port blocking. now you can extend rules to only block a specific port. simply by adding “:portnumber” to the hostname or by using the selector in the popup. if you tap on the (i)-button on the popup you’ll be shown a list of the most common ports. for more information take a look at this: http://bit.ly/9Dvtga. You might want to delete all rules (there is now a button in the About View) or manually edit the rules.d

- Allow/Deny all sess.: Allow/Deny all connections until you exit the app (or in case of Safari: Safari goes into backgrounding)

- now based on Regex. This should offer a faster and better experience

- import lists: yes, you can now import lists into global Allow and global Deny. For that simply put a txt file with hostnames/rules (each one gets it’s own line) into /Applications/FirewallGUI.app/Lists/ and then import it from the global Allow/Deny views :) . the file should look something like this:

*google.com

facebook.com:80

xyz.com

You can get the .deb from HERE

Remove the previous version (you won’t loose your rules) then install the new deb and respring.

ShakeToUnlock public beta3

It’s the only tool which allows you to unlock your device by shaking it, even when the screen is off. To reduce accidental unlocks this hack will check if your device stays still for 5 seconds. Only after the device hasn’t been moved for 5 seconds you will be able to unlock it with a shake gesture.

I moved some code into a LaunchDaemon so SpringBoard won’t get overloaded anymore. This should provide a fix for the few who got SpringBoard freezing from time to time.
NOTICE: ATM S2U EXPECTS YOUR DEVICE TO BE STILL FOR 5 SECONDS BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT AN UNLOCK. I DID THIS TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL UNLOCKING. In the final release version will be settings to adjust that time.

As with all beta stuff, only advanced users should try it. Just in case something goes wrong.

This is a public beta which will be usable until April 2nd 12 pm GMT+2 .

This needs MobileSubstrate and PreferenceLoader to be installed on your iDevice. If you don’t have them get them from Cydia. Respring after installation then you can go to the Settings app to change ShakeToUnlock’s behaviour.

ShakeToUnlock public beta2

Only after the device hasn’t been moved for 5 seconds you will be able to unlock it with a shake gesture.

what’s new in beta2:

  • should fix all know issues

This is a public beta which will be usable until February 2nd 12 pm GMT+2. . If everything works out this tool will probably end up on CydiaStore for less than $1. Why I’ll be selling it? cause this is a very advanced hack using some stuff nobody has ever used and it took me longer than expectet until everything was running fine.

Features:

- unlock your device by shaking it

- different sensitivity settings to reduce accidental unlocking

- stays active even after the device screen is powered off
